Catism losing its personal touch?

Part of the appeal of Catism as an academic movement was the personal charisma of its founder and leader, the cat Gergiev. Many early blog postings that began the movement had a sense of humor and gave insight into the daily life of the cat Gergiev. Unfortunately, the blog has degenerated of late into little more than a repository of quoted and paraphrased news stories involving cats. Although there is certainly a place for cat-related news, readers of the blog are missing out on the added interest and instruction that Gergiev's editorializing could provide. As evidence of this declining reader interest, one has only to compare the number of comments on recent blog posts to those on earlier posts. Return to us your wisdom, O great Gergiev! The next generation of cats (such as Nello) await your instruction and wit.

Catism is a dead, archaic religion. Today's feline no longer has a need for this obsolete philosophy.

Catism has many aspects, one is to explain how Catism is important, and it is shown by the cases of oppressed cats that occur every day.

Although Catism has many aspects, the cat Gergiev has been limiting her blog to only one of these aspects for quite some time. Too bad she cannot vary her explorations of Catism a bit more.

Perhaps that question would be better directed at Gergiev, the founder, leader, and offical spokescat of Catism.
